The Tree That’s Meant To Be
This is just a cute story about a wonky tree that survives and thrives because it’s a little bit different than every other tree. And there’s a good lesson to be heard in that. I found the writing to be well done and there’s a bit of rhyme and rhythm to the writing, which is done well, and hard to do.
The illustrations are good illustrations for a children’s book. They’re colorful and pretty overall, which is a must for a Christmas book!
Although, while it qualifies as a Christmas story because the wonky tree survives other trees being cut down for Christas and the wonky tree gets decorated while standing in the woods, it’s not really what we would look for or think of when it comes to children’s Christmas books.
