Paddington Series
As a character and a series of books, we truly enjoy Paddington. Overall, the stories we’ve read all have a similar structure: some sort of innocent activity or desire, Paddington getting himself into trouble through some sort of honest confusion, Paddington trying to solve the problem and usually getting into more trouble, and some sort of resolution. We haven’t read all of the stories, there’s a lot of them, written from 1958 through 2017, but the ones we’ve read and enjoyed we’ll list here. If there are any we didn’t enjoy, we’ll list them under a similar title in whichever category they fit the best.
Paddington at the Barber Shop (2017): This story is a similar structure to others, and you can guess where the confusion ensues. The illustrations are colorful and the story moves well.
Cautions: Paddington is always getting into trouble, but his actions are innocent and usually it’s not something that a little one would be able to or want to imitate as bad behavior.
