It’s Raining Tacos
I didn’t really enjoy reading this book/story, though when I asked my little one, my little one did.
The book is written in rhyme, but the rhyming isn’t great. It doesn’t flow well and a time or two filler words are added to get the rhyme to work.
The story is a funny idea, but after the first couple pages, not much is added to the story beyond taco components falling from the sky. There is a note on the book we checked out from the library that says the book is based on a hit song, which we are not familiar with, so it’s possible if a little one loves the song, they’ll enjoy this book more. When I asked my little one why my little one liked the book, I was told one word - “Cheese!”. I definitely understand that…
