Elmer and the Rainbow

What a lovely, colorful, creative book with a wholesome lesson of teamwork, friendship, acceptance, sacrifice and sharing. All from an elephant that isn’t grey like all of his friends, but a patchwork comprised many colors. It’s well written and the conversations seem natural. The drawings are cartoonish and colorful, which I’m not a big fan of the cartoonish style, but my little one loves it and we’re both a big fan of the color.

When we read the end of the book (which this will be better understood after reading the book), my little one exclaimed, “me too!” It’s always a great sign when my little one is that engrossed in a story.

We highly recommend this one!
