The Tawny Scrawny Lion
We are not a fan of this one. The lion is kind of mean and seems to be intentionally drawn to look mean. My little one asked about this aspect repeatedly. The other animals don’t feel safe. He tries to constantly eat every other animal, and the other animals are dishonest and try to trick him by feeding him the rabbits. The lion has some cute interactions with the rabbits, but the other negative interactions tend to overshadow the lovely little bunnies.
Cautions: There is trickery or dishonesty in the story, along with violence/animals eating other animals. Some of the characters express fear.
